Alderwood is a mature neighbourhood in the west-end city of Toronto, with the boundaries being from east to Kipling Avenue, west to Etobicoke Creek, north to Evans Avenue and south to the Canadian National Railway Tracks.
This leafy neighbourhood is perfect for both families and young couples alike. Tree-lined long streets meander throughout this area with rows of bungalows, storey-and-a-half houses from the 1920’s to 1950’s and more recently the influx of larger new re-builds boasting the latest in architectural designs. Most properties include large sized lots with private drives and garages, which appeals both to residents looking to remain in a smaller home as well as the potential for renovators and developers.
One of the reasons that this area attracts so many families, is the proximity to great schools, community centres, parks, hiking trails, libraries, transit, sporting facilities, fab eateries and food shops, pubs and easy access to highways. This area is a delight to live in with the advantages of feeling so close to nature and trails and being able to stroll along Lake Ontario’s waterfront. Alderwood is a well priced option for buyers looking for a west-end Toronto neighbourhood that is so close to the downtown core while having much to offer for both present and future growth.
